Heidi Giroux

PT, MPT, CIDN, Pelvic Floor Specialist

Heidi Giroux graduated from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After college she taught high school biology and human anatomy, and coached volleyball and basketball for two years, drawing on her own experience as a collegiate athlete. She then earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from The Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.

 

Heidi has over thirty years of experience in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, home health, nursing homes, spine centers and outpatient orthopedic facilities. After becoming a mother herself, she pursued pelvic floor and pregnancy specialties to help with post-partum issues and has focused predominantly on pelvic floor physical therapy for the last eight years. She has an integrative approach to treating pelvic floor dysfunction through fascia, viscera, neural mobilization, breathing, postural control, therapeutic exercise, and other therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, therapeutic cupping and IASTM. She is a certified instructor in the Billings Ovulation Method of natural fertility management.

 

Heidi has lived in Arizona for over twenty years and has enjoyed raising her 5 children in Queen Creek. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, watching her youngest daughter play volleyball, hiking, swimming, Pilates, and gardening.
